A federally funded, local let street and drainage improvement project that followed the TXDOT LGPP for the City of El Paso.
This 6,700 foot stretch of Oregon Street was reconstructed to include all new street infrastructure, ADA compliant route throughout corridor, illumination, utility reconstruction (water, sewer, and gas), construction phasing, and traffic and pedestrian control plans. Extensive coordination was required with Sun Metro, as the corridor was part of the original SMART 101 route. A feasibility study was performed to provide recommendations on pavement structure types and limits to include both a rigid (PCC) and flexible (AC) pavement structures.
